- We are an internet marketing company created to promote taxi and other industry related websites. Our background is the taxi industry; we understand the business and what operators and customers need.
- Why join Webbox?
- Webbox provides you with more opportunities in your area without having to pay high monthly charges.
- What is the deal?
- You get a Webbox Taxi Cab website for each area you decide to promote, plus an online booking system with postcode look up and instant booking. All email enquires and telephone calls come straight to you. You decide how and when to promote your own site.
- Online Bookings?
- Can be cash-on-the-day or pre-paid by credit or debit card. If you have a PayPal or WorldPay account customers can pay you directly. All bookings are sent to you straight away. You decide if you want cash only, card only or both type of bookings.
- Free trial?
- Yes, we offer a free trial for 30 days before your subscription payments start. This is a fully functioning trial where you can take real bookings!
- Bottom line, the cost?
- You pay monthly in advance for hosting and booking engine licence fee, just £39.95 plus VAT which will be set up at sign-on and will begin after the free trial period ends. There will be a one-off charge of £15.00 plus VAT to cover the domain set-up if you ask us to buy a domain name for you.
- How do I pay?
- We take debit or credit card payments by subscription through our payment processor, Stripe. Webbox not store any credit card details.
- How can I cancel?
- Cancel at any time from your control panel. Your site will continue to work until the end of the billing period (or trial period) after which it will go offline.
- How long to get it going?
- It normally takes upto 5 working days to tailor your website, we do not like to over promise.
- Will it work for me?
- Our websites have worked well for individual taxi drivers, drivers working in collaboration with each other and for larger taxi firms with many drivers. Give it a full test run with our 30 free trial.
- Do I need an operator license?
- If you are a Hackney Carriage no, but if Private Hire yes. It is our policy to work closely with all licensing authorities to protect customers and licensed operators.
- How many areas can I have?
- We recommend you only take a maximum of two websites to get started, to ensure it works well for you and us.

Using your own domain name
If you have chosen to redirect an existing domain to us then please change your name servers to:

PayPal & WorldPay set-up
Instructions for setting up PayPal and/or WorldPay payment for your website can be found in the Settings > Payment Options section of the website control panel once you have logged in.
Booking form only set-up
Remember, you will need to add links from your taxi website, to the booking form we set up for you, otherwise your customers will not be able to book online!
Instructions for linking your website to our booking engine can be found in the Settings > Web Booker integration section of the website control panel once you have logged in. If you need help adding these to your site then please contact support and we will do our best to help.
